Another lovely stay! - Rating 5/5

Joy's cottage is really warm, snug, and peaceful. We had a lovely week doing local walks and enjoying the scenery. We hope to return again soon.

Response

Thank your John and Clare for the review, you must have got home safely after starting from the Beacons at the start of gales and heavy rain didn't ease until6.30 pm.Hope to see you both next year.

Beautiful views and very relaxing- Rating 4/5

We stayed here as we were going to the Royal Welsh Show, although it is 40 mins drive from Builth Wells it's worth it for the beautiful scenery and so peaceful, your only neighbours are sheep and chickens, very secluded, phone signal and internet are poor but you can get it if you're patient, but if you want to get away from it all it's perfect, the accommodation is comfortable with 2 armchairs a kitchenette with all you could need, a comfortable double bed and large wet room, breakfast can be arranged if required, we enjoyed the mix of going to busy places and returning to total peace

Response

Thank you so much for your review and pleased you were enjoying the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and your daughter competitor on horse back in the arena. Having experienced the hottest days on record you will return to explore the area which is absolutely beautiful.Joy

Absolutely Fantastic - Rating 5/5

This is a lovely annexe located in rural Wales. There's absolutely no engine sounds, just a symphony of birds and chickens. This reminded me of my mum's place in France with a major difference: mountains. The only thing that needs upgraded is the wifi. It's on its edge of reception. I think a small investment in an Ethernet over Mains system should resolve the issue.I'll need to come back as I could do all my hikes. Thanks a lot.Alain

Response

Thank you Alain for the review and leaving the cottage clean and tidy.Would like to see you back any time in the future.Tried to get the WIFI reception better but according to Open Reach they are surprised I can get any reception at all so I will try your advice and see what happens.Joy

Lovely and Quiet and great for Pen Y Fan - Rating 4/5

We were looking for somewhere to stay to climb Pen y Fan - just fifteen minutes away. The cottage is lovely, very cozy, great facilities, spotlessly clean, very rural and quiet in the hills with sheep in the field next door and chickens wandering around.

Response

Many thanks for the review and for leaving the cottage tidy.Would be pleased to see yo back sometime in the future,

Very good place to stay when hiking in the Brecons. - Rating 5/5

Joy was incredibly welcoming, the cottage very nice and well-appointed, and you could walk directly up onto the Brecons from the back door. Our only complaint was the weather, which given that it was Wales in November, was hardly surprising!
